style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 我的父亲是一位农民，从小就跟着爷爷在地主家当伙计，靠出苦力维持一家二十多口老小的生计。 </p> <p style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 听母亲说，有一年闹旱灾，庄稼颗粒无收，地主家没有了收成，我家也就断了粮。那一年，父亲刚好十八岁，是家里的长子，眼望着一家人挨饿，父亲急的团团转。听说，邻村有人挑着当地土窑烧制的碗碟能到南方换些米面回来（我们当地人称作“换碗”），父亲也没加考虑，就砍了院子里的一棵桑树，做了一根桑木扁担，第二天就随人一起到南方“换碗”去了。 </p> <p style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 父亲的扁担比一般的扁担要长，两头窄中间宽，最宽处有十多厘米，最窄处也有五六厘米，厚度约有三四厘米，由于是自己做的，不够专业，坑坑洼洼有些粗糙，但父亲非常喜欢，他说：“用着顺手！” </p> <p style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 父亲“换碗”的工具很简单，一根桑木扁担，两个用荆条自编的箩筐。父亲每次外出都要先到窑厂进上满满两箩筐的碗碟，然后用他那特有的扁担挑着，总是在天不亮的时候出发，快则十天之内就可以回来一趟，然后再进货，再出发。若是赶上碗碟不好交换的时候，半个月才能回来一趟。每当这个时候，母亲总是念叨着：“看样子，这次的出门不顺利啊！”而且一天也不止一次的到村口等父亲。 </p> <p style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 父亲每次回来都会换些米面，供全家人维持生计。偶尔，也会换一些针线或小孩玩具。当孩子们拿着玩具快乐地玩耍时，母亲却是心疼的抽泣，因为父亲那宽厚的肩膀每次都磨出了一大片血泡，甚至化脓感染，每当母亲用酒给他擦拭的时候，父亲只是咬咬牙，但从不说一声痛。 </p> <p style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 后来，我们家分到了土地，父亲特别珍惜自己的土地。那根扁担就是他最好的伙伴，挑水、挑粪、挑粮……有时候，也挑我。记得小时候，父亲和母亲到地里干活，每一次父亲都会用他的装备挑着我，箩筐的一头装的是我，另一头装着的不是农具就是粮食。我坐在箩筐里，父亲给我讲故事，高兴的时候还会唱一段河南豫剧，我虽然听不懂，但我感到很幸福，甚至高兴地手舞足蹈。那时候，父亲的扁担挑的是我的摇篮，是我快乐的童年和全家人的幸福。 </p> <p style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 父亲的扁担还是一件神秘武器。记得有一次，邻居家的耕牛闹脾气，闹到了我们家的家门口。看着来势汹汹的大黄牛，我们一家人都忙着向屋子里跑，只有父亲抄起他的扁担向门外跑，只见父亲把扁担一横，马步一站，大有“一夫当关万夫莫开”之英雄气概。大黄牛也被父亲突如其来的架势吓得连忙后退几步，父亲连忙趁机一手搬住大黄牛的牛角，另一只手则把扁担伸进大黄牛的身下，然后用肩膀一扛，大黄牛被架在空中，瞬间倒在地上，一群人一拥而上，大黄牛就乖乖地俯首称臣了。 </p> <p style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 有一天，父亲摔倒了，而且再也没有起来。那天父亲正在条麦子，突然一个踉跄，就重重地摔倒了，之后再也没有睁开眼睛。父亲出殡的那天，家里来了很多乡亲，大家都带来了自己家的扁担，准备用自己家的扁担抬着父亲的棺椁，为他送别。这也是我们那里送别老人的一种礼仪。可母亲却拿出父亲的桑木扁担，说：“用他的那根扁担抬吧，这根扁担跟了他一辈子，今天就让它给他送别吧！” </p> <p style="text-align:justify;font-size:15px;margin-right:5px;margin-bottom:16px;margin-left:5px;line-height:2em;text-indent:2.2em;"> 自那天之后，我们再也没有看到父亲的那根扁担。只到十年后，母亲去世，我们整理母亲的遗物时，在母亲床边——挨着墙的地方发现了它…… </p>
